I started MantraBand in 2012, as a way to remind myself to be more present and worry less. Inspired by my son, who was two years old at the time, I wanted to be present and “live in the moment,” just like him. I thought a bracelet with the words “Live in the Moment” would serve as the perfect reminder. As someone who rarely wore jewelry, I felt the bracelet needed to be simple and material very durable. When I couldn’t find one that I liked, I decided to design my own. What started with only five mantras, is now a collection of 150+ mantras meant to inspire and empower every day.
In this book, I have collected our most popular mantras, inspirational messages, and action items to help inspire you, too.

Live intentionally and enjoy every moment. Laugh often. Above all, love unconditionally.
Observe your day. Are you present and focused, or are you always multitasking? Whether it’s spending time with family or working on a project, you will feel more fulfilled if you do one thing at a time and are fully present in that moment. Do you laugh often? If you don’t, how can you bring more laughter into your life? Love yourself first, then love others unconditionally—without expecting anything in return.

This is a gentle reminder to love and accept yourself, and believe in your heart that you are worthy of all good things, now and always. Let in love, let in forgiveness, let in joy. “I am worthy. I am abundant. I am overflowing with love.”
Decide what matters most to you in life, how you want to live, the kind of relationship you want to have, how you want to feel when you wake up— make note of the big things and the small things. Then decide that you are worthy of receiving these things, believe in your heart that you deserve the best, and work to engrave this into your consciousness every day.

Every experience in life prepares you for the next one. You can’t always choose where your roots are set, but you can choose to make the best of every situation. You can control your thoughts, actions, and attitude. While you might not be exactly where you would like to be at this point in your journey, you will get there if you use this opportunity to learn and grow.
Always strive to be your best self. Stay positive, practice gratitude, and bloom where you are planted.
You can have roots AND wings, but the latter takes time to grow. Be patient, have fun, and treat yourself and your environment with love and kindness. How you do one thing is how you do everything. Stick to your values, work hard, and show up with grace.
